Kerala is an enchantingly beautiful, emerald green area bordered on one side by the Western Ghats and the other by the Arabian Sea, and studded with rivers, lagoons, backwaters, and lush flora.

Kerala is regarded as God's land and for its ecotourism ventures and picturesque backwaters. Kerala's beaches, backwaters at Alleppey and Kollam, mountain ranges, and animal reserves are well-known are packed with tourists. Beaches at Kovalam, Muzhappilangad, Bekal, and Kappad are among the state's most popular beach destinations. Around Kollam's Ashtamudi Lake, backwater tourism and lake resorts are famous. Lovely hill stations and resorts are situated at Munnar, Wayanad, Nelliampathy, Vagamon, and Ponmudi. Medical tourism is quite popular in the state, and it is attracting many visitors. Periyar National Park a home to a variety of species and is surrounded by lush green woods.

Tour Program

Day 1 - Cochin — Munnar (135kms / 4-5hrs)

Pick up from Cochin Airport transfer to Munnar, En-route visit Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, Upon Arrive, Check in Hotel, free for Leisure, Overnight stay

 

Day 2 - Munnar

After Breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams — Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meters above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Local sightseeing of Munnar includes visits to Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point. Afternoon proceeds to Rajamalai where the rarest species of mountain goat, "Nilgiri Thars", can be spotted.

 

Day 3 - Munnar — Alleppey (180kms/5hrs)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady (04 Hrs.); On arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for the sightseeing tour of the Periyar wildlife reserve. The Periyar wildlife sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq. km of which 360 sq. km is a thick evergreen forest. Prominent for its geomorphology, diversity of wildlife and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Optional activities like Boating at Periyar Lake, Spice Plantation visit and Elephant Ride can be done at an extra cost.

 

Day 4 - Thekkady -Alleppey (140kms/4hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey to board Houseboat — The highlight of the Kerala Tour. Check-in time is 01:00 PM and the cruise starts with lunch. Delight in the facilities and amenities in your houseboat and pass through the lush coconut lagoons, never-ending paddy fields, narrow canals and coir villages. Witness the local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Food will be served onboard.

 

Day 5 - Alleppey — Trivandrum/Kovalam (175kms /2-3 Hrs)

After breakfast, Check out from Houseboat, transfer to Kovalam, Upon Arrival check in Hotel, Enjoy Leisure in Beach, Evening visit Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Evening back Hotel, Overnight stay

 

Day 6 - Kovalam — Trivandrum

After Breakfast, drop at Trivandrum Airport as per flight Schedule.
